  I am basing my review purely on the takeout experience, customer service and quality of of the food.
  With that being said, First and foremost it is not a high end place with amazing decor and grand entrance etc. This is a very typical family ran business that's purely local. So don't expect fancy restaurant.
  What you can expect is an amazing, homemade Filipino food that will melt in your mouth and show you true authentic food experience. If you can overlook everything that I've mentioned and you enjoy super delicious food made with love than this is your place.
  Marisa was very friendly with us and told us a little bit about every dish. She let us sample things that we weren't very familiar with and let me tell you there's no such thing as bad Filipino food for me. We walked out with two orders of 3 dishes, rice and poncet (hope I spell it right!) all totaling under $30! It's so much food that purely amazing for a wonderful price. Portions are hearty! It made me feel like I was home and my family is giving me huge plate to eat.
  They also have 3-4 dishes that are popular and always on the serving line, but rest of the food is always different, so you might want to take advantage of the variety of food that you can get.
  Such welcoming service, great food and true authentic taste get 5 stars from myself and my Filipino husband.
  We will be coming back again in very near future.

  This is probably one of the worst Filipino restaurants ive been to so far.
  
  The service is good. The guy said all the name of the food that they are serving. He asked us what we need or if we needed something else.
  
  There are different food choices. They all looked appealing and appetizing. But don't be DECEIVED and FOOLED. The meat of kare-kare was chewy and it tasted BLAND. You can't even taste the peanut butter since it's very watery. The sauce for the lechon kawali tasted like it was made from out of space not really good at all. The egg rolls were tiny. You cant even taste the meat. It's all just about the paper wrapper.
  If you ask for a cup of small soup, you need to pay for it.
  
  I will never recommend this place to anyone. I dont want you to spend your money to a resto that isnt even worth it.

  The service is okay but the food is really bad! The food looks and tastes like they were leftovers from the night before.

  Nothing beats authentic home cooked Filipino meals from your family but when you're craving it and just don't have time to cook (or find someone's house to eat at!) this is the place I head to!
  
  There are so many dishes to choose from at such a cheap price - combo plates include your choice of rice, pansit, or half and half. For one item its $5.50, 2 items $7.50 and three items is $11.75. Totally worth it for a hearty meal.
  
  Looking for something to bring to a potluck? Order the lumpia shanghai's- $20 for 100 pieces or 200 pieces for $35 is the way to go and will be a hit at your party - you can thank me later ;)

  I was in Monterey for a couple of days after being in Phoenix for four days that I've been craving for Filipino food. This restaurant was closest from my hotel.
  
  The place was small, it only had four tables and the food was pre-made. You can either do an ala cart or combo for $7.50 for two entree and $9 for 3 entree. I had steamed rice, lechon kawali, & fried milk fish and a side of nilagang Baka (beef soup). The lechon kawali was really hard that I was afraid to break my teeth; fried milk fish was bland and also hard. The only thing that I actually ate is the beef soup with the steamed rice. Only ate half of the rice because it was dry.
  
  Customer service was efficient, though I really think the food should've been at least average. If you're hungry for Filipino food, I suggest going to San Jose or Milpitas. Don't come here. You're wasting your money.
